It is with sadness and a heavy heart that we advise of the passing of Joseph Lunn on Monday 8th March, his 19th birthday. Best wishes and condolences from everyone at S&ERFC are sent to Dave, Toni, Amelia and the wider family at this very sad time.

The Magpies held a ‘virtual’ meeting in the run up to Christmas with the purpose of keeping the usual Magpies’ spirit intact and to raise some much needed funds for S&ERFC. Our thanks to you all in raising a staggering £1,200 for the club, which will be put to good use in these incredibly difficult financial times.
Under powers delegated by Council, the RFU Governance Committee have made the difficult decision that, with the exception of Premiership, Championship and Premier 15s rugby, no organised* RFU or non-RFU Leagues including merit tables, adult or age grade competitions will be played before January 2021 at the earliest.
