Support Ryan Shaw in the Yukon Arctic Ultra

Our U14 Head Coach is fundraising for the club’s Junior age groups. On the 30th January, Ryan will be leaving for Canada to participate in the Montane Yukon Arctic Ultra race http://arcticultra.de. On the 3rd February, the start of the race in Whitehorse, will see him embark on a 430 mile, self-supported trek through the Canadian Yukon wilderness. All supplies and survival equipment will be pulled by him in a sled, where temperatures that time of year can drop to -40 Celsius or lower, with only about 5 hours of daylight each day. He has some experience of these conditions as he finished the 300 mile race in 2015.  This new challenge will be a lot tougher though as the extra 130 miles takes him through the hills and mountains on the way to the finish line in Dawson City.

If you would like to support the juniors and Ryan as he completes in this race through donation, however big or small, it would be really appreciated. Any contributions can be made on JustGiving at https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/sutton-epsom-rfc
