Club News

RIP Stan Shepherd

It is with great regret that we have to announce the passing of Stan Shepherd on 17th September. Stan was a member of the Club back in the sixties and regularly played in the Extra A side which was the fifth side of the twelve we turned out in those days. He was a real character and will be sorely missed. Our condolences go to Tricia his wife of 55 years.

Mini & Junior Training has now resumed!

Mini and Junior training commenced on 6th September. Given the present conditions rugby has unfortunately been especially affected due to the contact nature of the game, but as a club we have worked tirelessly to ensure that every age group is allocated a training time on a Sunday and all precautions have been taken and RFU guidelines adhered too. Thank you to all who have made this happen.

Starting from this Sunday and for the foreseeable future the age groups will be training at the following times:

U5 & U8s
9.00-10.00 at the Club
U6 & U7s
10.30-11.30 at the Club
9.00-10.30 – Priest Hill Pitch 1 & half of pitch 2
9.00-10.30 – Priest Hill half pitch 2 & pitch 3
9.00-10.30 – Priest Hill – training pitches.
11.00-12.30 – Priest Hill – pitch 1 & half pitch 2
11.00-12.30 – Priest Hill – half pitch 2 & pitch 3
12.00-1.30 – 1st XV pitch & cabbage patch
1.00-2.30 – Priest Hill – pitch 1
12.00-1.30 – Clubhouse pitch
1.00-2.30 – Priest Hill Pitches 2&3

Can all parents please observe social distancing guidelines at all times and do not walk on the training pitches or areas. I hope your children enjoy returning to rugby.
