Brighton take the spoils
Brighton 33-19 Sutton & Epsom
A superb game all round. Sutton fielded a much-changed side complied of debutants and out-of-position players, but defied the odds and finished the game with a lot of credit. The Sussex club maintained their promotion push but were given a real test by a spirited Sutton in a game of intense commitment from all. Brighton gained a 33-19 win that included a vital four-try bonus point.
