Qualified accountant needed to help the club

The club urgently require a qualified accountant to review our accounts and independently sign them off. After many years John Tedder has stepped down from this important role – we thank him for all his dedication and hard work over the years – but now it is time for someone new to step in to this role. If you interested in helping please contact the Honorary Treasurer, Phil Williams: philljwilliams@hotmail.com

Pre-season training is underway...

The new coaching team of Mike Shmidt and Paul Hodgson are inviting all senior players and colts to get involved. What rugby player would not want to be coached by 2 ex-international players? New and old players welcome. Training starts at 7:30 at the club on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Open Training Session

Sutton & Epsom RFC is a hugely diverse rugby club with 5 mens teams and 2 ladies teams. From social teams, development teams and serious national sides for both genders, there is something for everyone.

We’re hosting an open session for both men and women on Tuesday 28th August where all are welcome to come down and have a taster of rugby life down at Sutton & Epsom.

Why should you try it out? Apart from rugby being the best sport in the world, as a club we can cater to a variety of needs whether you’ve never picked up a rugby ball in your life or you’re a seasoned professional who’s just moved to the area or interested in moving to another club. The session is also completely free and there’s no commitment once you’ve done the session so you have nothing to lose!

What should you bring? Friends! It’s a completely open session no matter what level you’re at so the perfect time to bring a crowd down with you. Mates, brothers, sisters, girlfriends, cousins, whoever is welcome. If you have any other questions then message our Facebook page and make sure to tag people you think might be interested. See you there!

NB: this session is specifically for those playing senior rugby at 18 or over and anyone not eligible will unfortunately not be able to participate. We do however have one of the largest mini and junior sections in the South East which you can message us for more details about.
