MB Associates is delighted to announce that its founder and MD, Monica Bradley, has won the Entrepreneur of the Year Award at the Financial Reporter 2025 Women’s Recognition Awards. The awards ceremony took place on 15 October at Exhibition Ariel Way in London, celebrating outstanding achievement, progress, and inclusion across the financial services industry.
It is great sadness that we must report the passing of former Club steward Alan Curl. After a short illness, he passed away peacefully on 8th October with his children Tony and Diana by his side. He lived out in Fuerteventura for the last 13 years and had a great and long life, and as Tony says, many of their fondest and long lasting memories were when his parents were the Club stewards! Rest in peace.

Sutton first visited Crescent Farm in 1914 for a 25-0 win and it is a delight that, despite the ravages of league rugby, a fixture dating back over 100 years and having been played in excess of 80 times still survives and is played on the same ground. Both clubs had started the season strongly and the form book suggested a close encounter.
A Club For All Seasons – the club history book written by Paul Beken with a foreword by Paul Hodgson – has over 230 pages on the vivid and exciting history of Sutton rugby, more than 120 photos, OS maps, a complete record digest and is beautifully presented in hardback with a dust jacket. Sutton & Epsom RFC takes the safeguarding and protection of children, in its widest sense, very seriously. It has therefore appointed a qualified official to manage all safeguarding issues across the Mini and Junior section. Our Safeguarding Policy can be read here…
This year’s City Fundraiser Lunch will take place at Smith & Wollensky, Covent Garden, on Friday 17th October with the brilliant Jonny Gould as host and the legendary Simon Shaw of England and the British Lions as guest speaker.
