RIP Shawnton de Four
On Saturday 4th March there was a tragic event at Old Emanuel when Shawnton de Four collapsed on the pitch and later died. He was 34 years old and recently married with young twins. After a pleasant crossing of the English moat, the tourists reached Ypres in good spirit and attended the “Closing of the gate” ceremony, after which they performed a personal procession to panel 54 where Club President Rob Knight placed a wreath in honour of all Sutton & Epsom players who made the ultimate sacrifice in the Great War, and in particular the two players whose names are recorded here. …more…

We are looking for as many rugby club members as possible to join the ATLAS Foundation Peloton at the Tour of Cambridgeshire. Join England Rugby legend, Jason Leonard, and our own DoR, Rowland Cheall, in this closed road cycling event.
Pledge to raise just £300 in sponsorship and receive FREE entry, which includes full race livery, VIP enclosure access for the ATLAS pre-race briefing and post-race festivities and private changing facilities. Once race costs are deducted ATLAS will kindly donate the remaining money back to our club for development projects.
